Sharlene (Jones) Hart

Sharlene Hart, 69, of Dearborn, MO passed away, Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

She was born on March 5, 1949 to John James and Velma Louise (Hamner) Jones in St. Joseph, MO. Sharlene grew up near Dearborn and attended school at North Platte.

On October 11, 1981 she was united in marriage to William Robert Hart. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph for 20 years, and later returned to the Dearborn area.

Sharlene worked at Silgan Container in St. Joseph for 25 years.

Sharlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She raised and loved many generations of chihuahua’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Laurence Jones.

Sharlene is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; children, Michelle Johnson, Cheryl Johnson, and Leigh Hart; grandchildren, Lexi, Haley, Shelby, and Julian; several great-grandchildren; brother, Ivan Jones and wife Kim; sister, Jolene Hartman and husband John; sister-in-law, Mary Jones; mother-in-law, Willa Hart; sister-in-law, Theresa Hart, brothers-in-law, Mel Hart and Alan Hart; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Stony Point Cemetery.

    I am so very deeply sorry for your loss , Sharlene always had a special place in my heart. May not of seen her in along time,, but She was a gentle soul on earth to all around her. I know she’s with my Mom in Heaven and they are telling all kinds of stories to each other. and laughing. We will see them again!

    To the Hart, Johnson and Jones families I send my sincerest condolences and love to you all! Sharlene was such a wonderful person and I loved her dearly ! WE spoke on the phone occasionally and always had a good time and talked forever it seemed. Lexie, my heart breaks for you as you will wonder where your grandma has gone and probably miss her most of all. . . She is no longer in pain and is now with her mom, dad and brother that passed before her. Sharlene, we will all miss you, RIP and Que Dios te Bendiga!!!
