Shannon Tate

Shannon Tate, 48, of Smithville, MO passed away December 11, 2020.

He was born May 29, 1972 in St. Joseph, MO. Shannon grew up in Gower and attended East Buchanan High School and in 1990 graduated from Plattsburg High School. 

Shannon loved lifted trucks, fast cars, motorcycles, and anything pyro. Most of all he loved watching his daughter Casey ride horses. Shannon was a contagious person who always left a story to tell. He has completed his final ride with us, leaving burnouts in all of our hearts. 

 He is survived by his daughter Casey “Slick” Tate; his parents Charlie and Debby Tate; sister Kristie (Parker) Hall; brother Charlie Adkins; other relatives and numerous friends

.Celebration of Life Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18th with Visitation following until 5:00 p.m. at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

In honor of what Shannon would want, please dress casual.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BACA: Bikers Against Child Abuse.
