Shane Matthew Felts

Shane Matthew Felts, 42, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012.

He was born on January 9, 1970 to Ervin Keith and Ella (Crawford) Felts in North Kansas City, MO. Shane grew up in Winona, MO and graduated from Winona High School.

On December 14, 1996 he was united in marriage to Heather Rene Sellars. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, MO where they made their home.

Shane worked for Ford Motor Company for 19 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He had a passion for old Chevy trucks and building things. Shane was loving husband and father who would do anything for anybody.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ervin Felts and Robert Russell.

Shane is survived by his wife Heather; sons, Zack and Joey Felts all of the home; father Keith Felts and wife Maryann, Plattsburg, MO; mother, Ella Yardley, Winona, MO; four brothers; one sister; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John D and Charlene Sellars, Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law David Sellars and wife Cathy, Clinton, MO; the worlds best neighbors Matt, Jen and Missy; many other extended relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home Smithville

Burial: Ridgely Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00-8:30 p.m. Friday June 29^th at the funeral home
