Shad Jason Edwards, 34, of Gladstone, MO, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006.

He was born on May 3, 1972 to Randall Eugene and Judith Kay (Luper) Edwards in Kansas City, MO. Shad grew up and attended school in Gladstone where he loved playing summer baseball and fishing with his dad and grandpa.

Shad worked as a construction laborer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy and grandmother, Mary Edwards.

Shad is survived by his father Randy Edwards and wife, Carol, Gladstone, MO, sisters, Alecia Smith and husband, Chris, Kansas City, MO, Shannon Edwards and Paul, Gladstone, MO, and Amy Edwards and Lance, Kansas City, MO, two sons, Christopher Shawn and Tadd Randall both of Gladstone, MO, Grandpa Edwards, Gladstone, Grandpa and Grandma Luper, Independence, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville
Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home.
