Selma (Hinkle) Coleman

Selma Coleman, 66, of Camden Point, MO, passed away, Monday, July 11, 2011.

She was born on July 15, 1944 to Thomas Elec and Elma Leona (Davis) Hinkle in Houston, MO, where she grew up and attended school.

On February 12, 1961 she was united in marriage to James Wesley Coleman. After their marriage they moved to Rolla, Missouri and in 1983 they moved to Camden Point where they made their home. Her husband, Jim, passed away, December 12, 2000.

Selma was a member of the Newburg Baptist Church in Newburg, MO. She enjoyed providing childcare in her home for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wesley Hinkle.

Selma is survived by three sons, Scott Coleman and wife Mary, Georgetown, TX; Jeff Coleman and wife, Jacque, Atchison, KS, and Terry Coleman, Camden Point, MO; two daughters, Julie Coleman, St. Louis, MO and Angie Manville and husband, Gary, Dearborn, MO; six granddaughters, Ashley, Sara, Ali, Abi, Hailey, and Daija; two grandsons, E.J. and Dalton; one great-grandson, Dakota; brothers, Wayne Hinkle and wife, Sharon and Roger Hinkle and wife, Joy; sisters, Sondra Snider and husband, Jerry and Diana French and husband, Bill; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14th at Camden Point Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Camden Point Cemetery.
