Sarah Pauline (White) House
Sarah Pauline House, 96, of Gower, MO, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010.
She was born on April 9, 1914 to Madison Henry and Anna (Gaultney) White in Starfield, MO where she grew up and in 1933, graduated from Gower High School.
On June 24, 1934 she was united in marriage to Milford Hadley House. After their marriage they made their home and farmed in the Starfield Community. On November 21, 2000, her husband, Milford passed away.
Sarah was a member of the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church, the Mt. Zion Ladies Aide, the Campbell-Oakdale Club, and the Ladies Guild Club. She was also a 4-H leader for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Betty Ann; and two sisters, Ethel White and Melba White.
Sarah is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Darrel L. and Luray House, Gary M. and Connie House, all of Gower and Dale M. House, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Cynthia and Rich Benz, Stephanie and Andy Phipps, Eric House, Scott House and Carter House; four great-grandchildren, Tabatha Phipps, Jacob Phipps, Amanda Benz and Kiera Benz; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5th at the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church, Gower
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower, MO
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mt. Zion Cemetery or Hands of Hope Hospice
