Sara E. Kline

Sara Elizabeth Kline, 64, of Agency, MO, went to be with her Lord April 9, 2007 in St. Joseph, MO.

She was born on October 29, 1942 to Harve Robert and Mary Katherine (Wood) Ferguson in Overton, MO. and attended school at Norborne MO until 1957. Sara then attended Mid Buchanan where she graduated. She later attended college at Missouri Western and the University of Missouri in Columbia.

On March 16, 1963 she was united in marriage to Charles Kline. In 1967 they moved to the Agency area where they farmed and made their home. Sara also farmed with her brother Roy near St. Joseph beginning in 1979 after her father retired.

She was a long time member of the Frazier Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and served as the church clerk. Sara was a 4-H member for 12 years and a leader for 45+ years, and was also a member of the Missouri Extension Homemaker, the Number 5 Extension Homemakers Club, the Buchanan County Extension Council, the Buchanan County Farm Bureau Board, the Buchanan County Zoning Board and Women in Agriculture.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert.

She is survived by her husband Charlie of the home, daughters; Barbara Smith and husband, Jeff, and Carol Kline, all of St. Joseph; sons; Gale and wife Sherri, Agency, MO, and Dale and wife Donna, Faucett, MO, eight grandchildren; Jessica, Danielle and Ellie Kline, Mandy Smith, Dalton and Brady Haenni and Emmah and Maycie Kline, sisters; Mary Ruth Martens and husband, Leeroy, Richmond, MO, Helen Gill and husband Dan, Bar Harbor, Maine, brothers; Roy Ferguson and wife Janice, St. Joseph, MO and Carl Ferguson and wife Rhonda, Indianola, IA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 13^th at the Frazier Baptist Church

Burial: Agency MO Cemetery

Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Frazier Baptist Church or the Mayo Clinic Oncology or Cardiology Departments.
