Ruth (Mathes) Hartman

Ruth Hartman, 96, of Lathrop, MO passed away, Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

She was born on August 3, 1920 to William and Bessie (Peterson) Mathes in Lathrop, MO.  Ruth grew up in Lathrop and graduated from Lathrop High School.

She was united in marriage to Howard Hartman.  After their marriage they lived in Lathrop where they made their home.  Her husband, Howard, preceded her in death in 1997. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Helen Barnett and Rose Ann Irby and brother, James Mathes.

Ruth is survived  by her children, Barbara Hopkins and husband Jerry, Plattsburg, MO, Gary Hartman and wife Deborah, Naples, FL, Danny Hartman, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Angela and husband Mike, Heather, and Shawn; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service:  11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16th at the Broadway United Methodist Church in Plattsburg. 

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
