Russell Franklin Quinn

Russell Franklin Quinn, 91, of Camden Point, MO passed away Saturday January 5, 2013. 

 

He was born on August 10, 1921 to John Richard and Alice Ganel (Morrow) Quinn in Miami, MO.  Russell grew up and attended school in Marshall, MO.  He then served his country in the US Army as a Sergeant during WWII. 

 

On February 27, 1950 he was united in marriage to Estella Ida McNally.  After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, MO and in 1959 they moved to Camden Point where they made their home.  Stella passed away on December 25, 2009.

 

He was a plumber for many years and was a lifetime member of the Union Local #8.  Russell enjoyed gardening, woodworking and most of all spending time with his family.

 

Russell was also preceded in death by infant children, Joseph, Carolyn and David; his son Rusty Quinn; and a sister Sophia Thornton.

 

He is survived by his children Virginia Latham and husband Mike, Joann Werline, Richard Quinn and wife Janie; grandchildren, Russ, Chris, Aaron, Derrick, Brian, Jason, Amanda, Steven, John, Stephanie, Missy, and Shannon; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Graveside Service and Burial:  1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8th at Camden Point Cemetery

Arrangements:  Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
