RUBY F. ROE
Ruby Faye Roe, 70, of Edgerton, MO, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006.
She was born on February 18, 1936 to Orville and Tiney (Tabor) Wright in Brown Branch, MO. The family then lived in Idaho and Southern Missouri, moving to Osborn, MO where Ruby attended Osborn High School.
On February 22, 1953 she was united in marriage to Victor Earl Roe. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg until 1961 when they moved to Edgerton, where they made their home. Earl preceded Ruby in death on July 9, 1993.
Ruby attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton and was a member of the Daniel/Schafer American Legion Auxiliary. Ruby spent her life caring for others.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rick Roe, and a sister, Gladys Craft.
Ruby is survived by one daughter, Carol Lynn Mercer, Buena Vista, VA, two sons, Ron Roe, and wife, Cheryl, Edgerton, and John Roe, and wife, Dana, Weston, MO, eleven grandchildren, David Malone, Brad Mercer, Keisha Sprague, Mindy Juhnke, Matthew, Michelle, Michael, and Mark Roe, and Erick, Alex and Adam Roe, seven great-grandchildren, one brother, Bob Wright, Afton, OK, three sisters, Darlene Schriver, Kansas City, MO, Marge Reynolds, Gower, MO, and Nancy Culver, Kansas City, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton with visitation from 9:30-10:30 one hour prior.
Burial: Perrin Cemetery, Perrin, MO
Friends may call anytime after 4:00 P.M., Sunday.
