Roxann McGrail
Roxann McGrail, 68, of Gladstone, MO passed away, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home.
She was born on August 13, 1948 to Elmer and Dorothy (Stahl) Stark in Hazel Park,
Michigan. She grew up in Hazel Park and graduated from Hazel Park High School.
Roxann then attended Dickinson Business School. She retired from Lathrop and Gage in Kansas
City as a legal secretary.
On February 12, 1976 she was united in marriage to Patrick McGrail. After their marriage, they lived in
Brownstown, MI and in the 1980’s they moved to Kansas City, where they made
their home.
Roxann enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her husband, children, and most
of all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Larry.
Roxann is survived by her husband Pat, of the home; children, John Ellison and wife
Tracye, Mark Ellison and wife Katie, Deanna Moore and Thomas, and Angela
Nakoulima and husband Alioune; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Matilda, Olivia, Zachary, Shelby, Justin, Alex, Nick,
Dylan, Abby, Emma, Annie, Eva, Audrey, Marie, Erin, Aisatu, Amina, and Zane;
brothers and sisters, Art, Jerry (Donna), Suzanne, Terry, Sonya (Mike), and Sydney;
brother-in-law, Mike and sister-in-law, Lynn; several nieces and nephews, other
relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home,
Smithville with visitation following until 8:30 p.m.
Burial: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Hadn’t seen Roxann in years, but always considered her my best friend. We had some very memorable times on Judy Circle. I loved her dearly.
