Rosemary (Heath) Quinn
Rosemary Quinn, 75, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away, Thursday, February 9, 2012.
She was born on April 28, 1936 to John Lee and Helen Rosalia (Cockriel) Heath in Edgerton, MO, where she grew up and attended school. Rosemary attended her freshman year of school at Weston High School, went to Gower High School for a year, and graduated from North Platte High School in Dearborn.
On December 6, 1959 she was united in marriage to Thomas L. Quinn. After their marriage they lived in LaVerne, Minnesota, Garden City Kansas, the Gower and Plattsburg area and in 1991 they moved to St. Joseph where they made their home. Her husband, Thomas, passed away in 2002.
Rosemary worked at the Law Enforcement Center from 1985-1991 and later worked in the Dietary Department for Heartland Regional Medical Center both in St. Joseph.
She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton.
Rosemary was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Darrell Quinn, daughter, Nancy Quinn, and her brother, John Heath, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Quinn and Daniel Quinn and wife Jamaka, all of St. Joseph; daughter, Cindy Coleman and husband Kevin, Smithville; grandchildren, Joshua Coleman and wife Holly and Preston Coleman, Marissa, Michael, and Wyatt Quinn, Tyler Quinn, and Dakota and Shianne; sister, Judy Collins, Lathrop, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 11th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Brethren Cemetery
