Rosella Tyrone
Rosella Tyrone, 72, of Claycomo, MO passed away, Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
She was born on March 30, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Rosella grew up in Pineville, MO, Anderson, MO, Southwest City, MO and graduated from Center High School in Kansas City.
Rosella lived most of her life in the Kansas City area. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Smithville. Rosella was a ship welder in Pascagoula, Mississippi and a pump mechanic at Bayer Chemical in Kansas City. She also owned and operated Clayco Gun and Repair Shop in Claycomo, MO. Rosella loved cooking and baking, and during Christmas time her kitchen became a full-time bakery. She enjoyed genealogy and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Frederick Zacher and Elsie Grace (Watkins) Kanan Zacher; her first husband, Mick Tyrone; brothers and sisters, Maurice Kanan, Ann Stanley, Virgil Kanan, Jo “Shirley” Zakas, Ethel Morton, Patricia Kanan, Harry Kanan, Robert Zacher, and Ed Zacher.
Rosella is survived by her children, Jody (Beckie) Tyrone, Mitchell (Lori) Tyrone, and Tammy Tyrone; grandchildren, Michael (Rosalie) Tyrone, Shawn White, Adam Tyrone, Chris Tyrone, Jewellee Tyrone, Robert Tyrone, and Meigan Tyrone; great-grandchildren, Tyler White, Destiny White, and William Tyrone; brothers and sisters, Jim Pohlman, Jean Frzicki, Richard Fredrickson, Steve Schuneman, Fred Zacher, Carl Joe Zacher, Marietta Zacher, and Sam Zacher; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2nd in Smithville at Grace Community Church.
Burial: 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 4th at Pineville Cemetery, Pineville, MO.
