Rosalee B. (Hines) Thomas
Rosalee
B. Thomas, 80, of Gower, MO passed away, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the
Gower Convalescent Center.
She
was born on July 5, 1935 to Howard and Wardie (McClanahan) Hines near Gower, MO
where she grew up. Rosalee graduated
from Gower High School. After graduation
she worked for Hillyard�s in St. Joseph.
On
August 9, 1959 she was united in marriage to Lonnie Thomas. They settled in Gower in 1965 where they made
their home.
Rosalee
was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gower. She loved to cross stitch, bowl, and was a
member of the St. Joseph Garden Club.
She
was preceded in death by her father, and her sister, Beverly Meade.
She
is survived by her husband, Lonnie, of the home; daughter, Ann Merise Brock and
husband Terry; son, Mark Thomas and wife Amber; two grandchildren, Maddux and
Isabelle; her mother, Wardie Hines; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday November 24th
at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
