Ronnie J. Edwards
Ronnie J. Edwards, 70, of Smithville, MO formerly of Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday December 16, 2013.
He was born on October 12, 1943 to Clifford Joseph and Dorothy Louise (Timbrook) Edwards in Camdenton, MO. Ronnie grew up and attended school in Camdenton, MO and Overland Park, KS. Ronnie then served his country in the US Navy.
On August 8, 1964 he was united in marriage to Judy Andersen. After their marriage they lived in Overland Park, KS, Kansas City, KS and in 1990 moved to Smithville, MO where they made their home.
Ronnie worked for Corn Products and National Starch in North Kansas City, MO for over 38 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, computers and watching movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Edwards.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Judy of the home; son Jason Edwards and wife Tammy; daughter Lori Edwards; grandsons Joe "Joey" and wife Kelly and Ayden; great-grandson Wesley; brother Bill Edwards, Kansas City North; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday December 21st at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
