Ronald Ray Curry
Ronald Ray Curry, 65, of Easton, MO passed away May 14, 2014.
He was born on August 14, 1948 to Ross Huston and Dorothy Marie (Huffman) Curry in Holden, MO. Ronald grew up and graduated from Sedalia High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He courageously served two tours and received multiple citations and commendations.
In October of 1986 he was united in marriage to Linda Christine Porter. After their marriage they lived in Easton where they made their home.
Ronald retired as a safety trainer and supervisor from UPS Fright. He drove for 38 ½ years driving 4 ½ million miles with no accidents.
He was charter member of Harmony Baptist Church in Sedalia, MO. Ronald was also a member of the VFW Post #6760 in St. Joseph, MO and was a lifetime member of Hard Charges.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Debbie White and grandson Syeliss Pansza.
He is survived by his wife Linda Curry; children, Ronda Dawn (Justin) Curry, Starla Rossann (Jericho) Curry, Jessica Nicole (Chris) Weaver, John (Karen) Pansza, Jason (Season) Pansza, Jamie (Amy) Pansza, Josh (Chantel) Pansza and Cody (Jaime) Curry; many grandchildren; sisters, Tama Jo Murphy, Carlyn Rose Grisham, and Laura Jean Gragg; brother, David Craig Curry; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18th with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Burial with Military Honors: Allen Cemetery, Gower
