Ron was such a gentle soul, as was Shirley. I got the privilege of getting to know Ron when he was the Kiwanis liaison for the local Cub Scout organization. Sometimes I would just need his signature for something and would spend the better part of an hour just listening and talking with him. Condolences to the family.

Lee and I are sorry for your loss.

Ron, and your mom, both worked to make the world a better place. We admire and respect them for that.

So sorry, Ron and Shirley were good friends. Rosalee enjoyed working with Shirley at Spelman. Ron and I were in one of the best carpools to Farmland Ind, ever. Great times and visits.

I grew up across the street from Ron and Shirley. I have the fondest memories of Ron as a child. He was such a good man and would always be there to say hi, give me an apple, and even a few times, some homemade ice cream. My prayers go out to the family.

Ron was a very kind and good man. He and his wife raised three kind and good children who are raising their children to be kind and good. To know Ron was to love him.
