Ron Russell

Ron Russell, 60, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007.

He was born on June 15, 1947 to Raymond Rex and Barbara Jean (Roseberry) Russell in Paola, KS. In 1965, Ron graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph. After his graduation he attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. He then moved to Kansas City and in 2005 moved to St. Joseph.

Ron worked for Uni-Guard Security in Kansas City where he retired in 2005 after 22 years of service.

He loved computer technology, music and his dogs, Sadie Mae and Bubba.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Rex Russell and his step-father, James L. Crouch.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara J. Crouch, St. Joseph; sisters, Nancy Clifford and husband, Bob, Fremont, NE, Sally Wiley and husband, Duane, Gower, MO, and Jami Crouch and Chuck Walter, El Dorado Springs, MO; eight nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 15^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower.

Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph
