Robin C. Srite
Robin Coleen Srite, 47, passed away at home in Independence, MO, on June 14, 2019. Surrounded by family and friends, she fought a brief but mighty battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Smithville, MO to Helen (McIntosh) and Albert L. Srite, Jr. on June 15, 1971. Robin attended Franklin Elementary and Liberty JR High School in Liberty, MO. In Independence, MO, she attended William Chrisman High School – Class of 1989 and Blue River Community College.
Robin truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures – particularly spending time or chatting with family and friends. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Robin’s love will be with us always.
She is survived by her Mom Helen (McIntosh) Ravenscraft and her stepdad Ronnie L. Ravenscraft of Independence, MO; her Dad Albert (JR) Srite, Jr. and her stepmom Margaret Cozad-Srite of Gower, MO; sister Rachel L. Billings of St. Joseph, MO; her son Colby R. Srite, Sr.; her grandchildren Lexiss D. Grate-Srite and Colby R. Srite, Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandparents, Wayne & Lucinda McIntosh and her paternal Grandparents, Albert & Ruth Srite, Sr.
Robin’s final resting place will be Mount Washington Cemetery in Independence, MO.
Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Robin are invited to a Celebration of Robin at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, 104 Church St. Smithville, MO on Saturday, June 22, 2019, 1-3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest memorial donations be made to Cancer Action, 4010 S. Lynn Court, Independence, MO 64055.
