Mr Harris was a wonderful teacher at Valley. His love for music and teaching showed every time he opened the piano and started the warm up chords. He was gentle person who always held you to his high expectations. You were a better person and singer just by being around him. His smile and laugh made the morning better. For his family I pray for you all. Mostly I thank you for sharing him with us at Valley. Class of ‘83
May the choirs of angels meet you at heaven’s gates!!

My choir teacher from 1976 to 1982 at Valley High…but more like my dad. He started my love for family history..he has been in my life for my whole life. Bought my house around the corner from him and had many weekly porch chats for 40 years. My teacher, my mentor, my dad and best friend….You are Heaven bound now. Love and Light
