Robert Dean “Bob” Prater
BOB PRATER
Robert Dean ?Bob? Prater, 71, of Gower, Mo., formerly of Falls City, Ne., passed away Friday, June 17, 2005.
He was born on November 23, 1933 to Bryan and Mabel Francis (Trayer) Prater in Falls City, Nebraska where he grew up and graduated from High School.
Bob later moved to Hiawatha, Ks., and in 1991 he moved to Gower, where he made his home.
He worked for A&P Foods as a meat cutter for over 30 years.
Bob was a member of the Elks Lodge in Hiawatha. He was also an avid fisherman and loved and took care of many cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Gloria A. Roberts, St. Joseph, Mo., two sons, Scott Prater and wife, Lorena, Vassar, Ks., and Bud Prater, Nebraska City, Ne., son-in-law, Pete Roberts, St. Joseph, five grandchildren, Brian, Beth, Nicolas, Scott, and, Lisa, five great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND BURIAL: 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20th Steele Cemetery, Falls City, Nebraska
VISITATION: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
