So sorry for your loss. Mr. Payne was a very special man. He always knew your name when he came back to visit at the Lawrence plant. He always had a smile.

My sister, Paula, let us know of the death of Bob. I am one of Ed’s (Edwin) step daughters and have a fond memory of meeting your mother, Ann, and your father when we lived in Illinois. My condolences on your loss. I will make a contribution in memory of Bob to the scholarship that Suzie set up at ISU in memory of Ed.Fondly,Marian “Mamie” Conroy Morgenstern
