Robert Allan Killgore

Robert Allan Killgore, 76, of Trimble, MO, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011.

He was born on September 29, 1934 to Edwin Allen “Jack” and Anna Marie (Berryman) Killgore in Stewartsville, MO where he grew up. Bob graduated from Plattsburg High School. He then served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, Bob returned to the family farm where he worked until 1964.

On May 31, 1974 he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Masoner. After their marriage they lived in Trimble where they made their home.

Bob retired as a sales representative for high floatation equipment companies including Moss Sales and Service, Salina Kansas.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Plattsburg and the Plattsburg Masonic Lodge. Bob was an avid golfer.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jacqueline Thomas; and brother, Charles “Charlie” Killgore.

He is survived by his wife, Judith of the home, daughter Robin Elliott and husband Tom, Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Brett Devling, Lauren Allen and husband Jon, and Katelyn Elliott; great-granddaughter, Amelia Allen; brothers, John Killgore and wife, Lane, Stewartsville, MO; sisters, Helen Pruitt, Lee’s Summit, MO and Mary Ann Warden and husband, Tom, Owensville, MO; sister-in-law, Rita Killgore, Plattsburg, MO; special friends, Danny and Charlene “Charlie” Sellars; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21^st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Private Family Graveside will be held at Ridgely Cemetery.
