ROBERT A. JOHNSON

Robert “Bob” Albin Johnson, 86 of Platte City, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO passed away Monday, October 23, 2006.

He was born on March 21, 1920 to Alvin and Inez (Holmgren) Johnson in Kansas City, MO where he grew up and graduated from high school.

Robert then served his country in the United States Army during WWII from December 6, 1941 to October 2, 1945. After his honorable discharge, he farmed near Ballard, MO until he retired and moved to Harrisonville, MO. Robert later moved to Cedars of Liberty.

Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lucille Vogler.

Robert is survived by sister, Helen Burgard, Garden City, MO, brother, Bill Johnson, Cameron, MO, several nieces and nephews including Mike Johnson, Parker, KS, and Garry Johnson and Marlene Zygmontowicz, both of Platte City, MO, other relatives and many friends.
