Richard “Richie” Coffman, 54, of
Gladstone, MO and Park Rapids, MN passed away, May 28, 2015.
He was born on November 16, 1960 to Robert Lee and Ruth Alta (Chinn)
Coffman in Kansas City, MO. He grew up
in Gladstone, MO and graduated from Oak Park High School.
Richie lived in Gladstone and loved spending time at his second him in
Park Rapids, Minnesota on Long Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald Coffman.
Richie is survived by his aunts Maxine Hiel and husband Ray and Marcha
Tietjens and husband Ken; nephew, Daniel Coffman; and niece, Amy Bartholomew
and husband Dakotah; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, June 27th at Northland Cathedral in Kansas City, MO.
Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

Oh, I am so sorry, Richard was a wonderful guy! He stopped at our store all the time, brought me donuts and the best thing he gave me was two cans of Brrooks beans for chili, those were the best he said! What a smart, kind, and honest man, I miss him so much just loved his visits, he LOVED his Long Lake home and did amazing things, changing out windows, cores in hot water heaters, etc! He said his Dad taught him how to master anything! Richard my heart is heavy! Debbie

Richie Always spent the Holodays with us after his Mother was gone, and when it snowed I could always see his blue pickup pull up in front of my house, Richie would bring his snowblower over and clean my drive for me. I will miss him. He was a good person.
