Richard Maxwell Clark

Richard Maxwell Clark, 56, of Gladstone, MO, formerly of Platte County, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008.

He was born on April 22, 1951 to Robert R. and Fredricka (Edgren) Clark in Kansas City, MO. Rick grew up in Riverside and in 1969 graduated from Park Hill High School. In 1974 he graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and major in Speech: Radio-Television.

Rick worked for radio stations in Kansas City and Springfield, MO as a disc jockey and in marketing and advertising.

He was a member of the St. Matthews United Church of Christ in Riverside and the DeMolay in Parkville.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert “Bing” Clark.

He is survived by twin sisters, Nancie Owsley and husband, Keith, Tulsa, OK and Francie Kochanek and husband, Bruce, Park City, UT, aunt, Alva Clark, nieces and nephews, Victoria Kochanek, Courtney and Candace Cox, Bobby and Nikki Campbell and Faith and Allie, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29^th at the St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Riverside, with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial: East Slope Cemetery, Riverside
