Many may not have known, but when my house burned down in 6th grade, we lost everything. Mr. Graham and the rest of our custodians took my brother and I shoe shopping with one stipulation, it had to be the coolest pair we could find…it was one of the nicest gestures anyone could have done for two boys in the middle of a crisis. Rest in peace, kind sir!
