Reverend Samuel E. Moore

Reverend Samuel E. Moore, 84, Edgerton, MO, passed away Saturday September 20, 2014.

SE Moore was a graduate of Southwest Baptist College, William Jewell College, and Central Seminary.  He served churches in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa in his 60 year ministry. He was pastor at New Hope Baptist Church, in Holden Mo and was an interim at First Baptist Church Kingsville MO. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Georgia (Walburg) Moore and children Pamela Barreth, Lee’s Summit, MO, Dennis Moore, Springfield,MO, John Moore, Edgerton, MO,  and Ron Moore, St. Joseph, MO and grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also he is survived by his brother John W. Moore of Blue Springs, MO nieces, nephews, friends and church family.

Please join the family in a memorial service to be held October 11, at 10:00 at First Baptist Church Kingsville, MO. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church at Kingsville, (816-726-9987).
