Rebecca Ann Klino
Rebecca Ann Klino, 52 of rural Gower, MO, passed away Monday February 14, 2011 at her home.
She was born on September 17, 1958 to Charles Henry and Alice Marlene (Hughes) Lewis in Garden City, KS. Becky grew up in the Gower area and in 1976 graduated from East Buchanan High School. She then attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville and Vatterott College in St. Joseph, MO where she received her degree.
On June 24, 2006 she was united in marriage to Jim Klino. After their marriage they lived near Stewartsville where they made their home.
Becky was an IT Tech for United Way in Kansas City, MO, was an instructor for Vatterott College in St. Joseph, owned and operated a greenhouse in Skidmore, MO and also co-owned Compton’s Grocery Store in Gower.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Charles Henry and Glenda Ray Lewis, step-fathers Clayton Compton and Ross Divelbiss; her first husband Bob Perry; and son Branson Perry.
Becky is survived by her husband, Jim of the home; son Phil Perry; mother Alice Divelbiss; brothers, Rick Lewis, Randy Lewis and Paula, C.L. Compton and wife Nickie, David Lewis and Brian Lewis; and sister, Mona Lewis; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 19th at the Gower Christian Church.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery
Donations may be made to the cemetery.
