Reatha Mae Snapp
Reatha Mae Snapp, 84, of Gower, MO, passed away, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her daughters home.
She was born on December 23, 1927 to John L. and Ida M. (Bagwell) Jones in Cordelle, Oklahoma where she grew up, later moving to Bell Gardens, California. In 1945 she graduated high school in Compton, California.
In 1946 she married Elmer Ray Snapp. After their marriage they lived in Albuquerque, NM where she worked for Bell Telephone Company, and Stewartsville, MO where they operated Bram Funeral Home. Reatha later moved to Gower, MO, where she owned and operated Artistic Flowers, with her son Tony.
Reatha was a Mary Kay consultant. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing at the Lake, and loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Emma McLaughlin, Alice Scott, Mildred Johnson, and Myrtle Wedemeyer; three brothers George, Alfred, and J.T. Jones; and a great-granddaughter, Mckinley Rose Krueger.
Reatha is survived by three children, Tony Snapp, Gower, MO, Randall Snapp and wife Joyce, Menifee, CA, and Robin Krueger and husband Mike, Gower, MO; grandchildren, Jared, Robert C. “R.C.”, Jonathan, Jared, Stephanie, Brandon, Michael, and Rhonda; great-grandchildren, Lexy, Shelby, Brevin, Logan, Dalton, Carson, Grace, Faith, Adrianna, Maddie, Mason; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home. Gower.
Burial: Keller Cemetery, Stewartsville.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Keller Cemetery or Three Rivers Hospice.
