Raymond St. John
Raymond St. John, 90, of Smithville, MO passed away, Thursday, August 22, 2013.
He was born on September 3, 1922 in Platte County, MO where he was a life time family farmer. Raymond received the Honorary American Farmer Degree from the National FFA. He was an estate and personal property auctioneer from 1945 to 1983. Raymond truly enjoyed spending time with his family, they were the most important part of his life .
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Walter St. John in 1978 and his mother Gertie (Baber) St. John in 1967.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ordelta; two sons, Otho St. John and wife Brenda, Polo, MO and Otis St. John, Smithville, MO; grandchildren, Otho Ray St. John II and Jackson St. John; sister, Dorothy Corless and husband Frank, Smithville; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Lathrop.
