Randy Holmes
Randy Holmes, 70, of Smithville, MO passed away peacefully at home with his family on November 16, 2024.
He was born on March 11, 1954 to Raymond Orvale and Jeraldine Patricia (Aten) Holmes in Eden, Oklahoma. He graduated from Smithville High School in 1973.

On April 21, 1978 he was united in marriage to Jenny Lee Eads. After their marriage they made their home in Smithville.
Randy worked at Tire Supply in Kansas City for 20 years. He then worked as a custodian for the Smithville School District for 16 years. He loved flowers and working in the yard. His hobby was tropical fish. Randy had many tanks and participated in many fish shows. Randy was a lifetime member of the Heart of American Aquarium Club and won many trophies, ribbons, and plaques at the shows.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smithville where he served as a deacon, currently known as Prevail Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Cindy Caraway.
Randy is survived by his wife, Jenny Lee of 46 years; daughter, Cathy (David) Alden; son-in-law, Jerry Caraway; grandchildren, Doety Wright, Alissa (Ben) Courtney, Jennifer Corless, Michele (Willie) Rodriquez, Kristy (Ryan) Seabaugh; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Ray (Eva) Holmes; niece, Erin (Brad) Dixson; grand-nephew; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23rd at Prevail Church, Smithville, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Smithville, MO.
