Rachel Moria (Glenholmes) Blair

Rachel Moira Blair, 64, of Edgerton, MO passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008.

She was born on June 19, 1943 to John and Mona (Jackson) Glenholmes in Northern Ireland where she grew up and attended school. Rachel then served in the Royal Air Force. While serving in England, she met J.B. Blair while he was serving in the US Air Force. On October 20, 1961 they were united in marriage. After their marriage they returned to Leavenworth and in 1965 moved to Edgerton where they made their home.

Rachel spent most of her time as a homemaker and also worked as a surgical technician for various area hospitals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Mervin Glenholmes.

Rachel is survived by her husband, J. B. of the home; children, Sean Blair, Edgerton, Celeste Rodriguez and husband, Dave, Parkville, MO, and Christopher Blair, Platte City, MO; two grandchildren, Alex and A.J. Rodriguez; two brothers, Eric Glenholmes and wife, Iris, Toronto, Canada, and Albert Glenholmes and wife, Elaine, Crete, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22^nd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
