Phyllis Shortt
Phyllis L. Shortt, 94, of Gower, MO formerly of Beaufort, SC, passed away September 4, 2024.
She was born on January 25, 1930, to Ralph and Hazel Gifford in Brockton, MA where she grew up and graduated from High School.
Phyllis was a buyer for the U.S. Military PX. She was active her entire life, enjoyed scuba diving, cross country skiing, crocheting and she loved the ocean and animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Shortt on February 5, 2009.
Phyllis is survived by her son and daughter in law Gregg and Gwen Tardie of Gower, MO.
The family would like to thank the Gower Convalescent Center for their excellent care of Phyllis for the last four and a half years.
Inurnment will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS

That’s a great picture.Phyllis was a wonderful person and such a smart lady.Everyone who knew her loved her.She will be grately missed, but know she’s now with Bill who she loved and missed so much.
