Phillip Vice
Floyd Phillip Vice, Jr. was born April 27, 1966 and passed away after complications from surgery on December 13, 2024.
Phillip grew up in Stockton, Missouri where he graduated high school. He had many jobs over the years but began working for the United States Postal Service in 1996 and was the current Postmaster in Savannah, Missouri.
He married Karen Vice on January 11, 1991 and instantly became the best bonus dad to three children before completing their family with a fourth child in 1997.
Phillip enjoyed deer hunting, snagging for spoonbill and the annual fish fry. He was always ready to help the kids and grandkids with any project they had.
He is survived by his wife Karen Vice of the home; children Nicholas (Ashli) Hayes of Kansas City, MO, Chassie (Joseph) Abbott of Kansas City, MO, Danielle (Joseph) Binggeli of Manhattan, KS, Morgan Vice of Kansas City, MO; mother Nettie Hansen of Stockton, MO; brother Jason Neal of Kansas City, MO; sisters Sandra (Randy) Hawn of Pleasant Valley, MO, Sonya Daugherty of Olathe, KS; grandsons Isaac, Priest, Maddox, Avery, Rex; granddaughter Lillian, numerous nieces and nephews and so very many friends.
The family will host a celebration of Phillip’s life on Saturday, December 28th at The Trimble Community Center in Trimble, MO from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Iām so very sorry for your loss. I promoted Phil to the postmaster of Savannah Missouri. I really liked working with him. He was always very willing to help out in anyway he could. I was very proud of the job he did at Savannah and was glad he was one of my Postmasters. Gone way too soon.
