Phillip N. Shackelford
Phillip Noah Shackelford, of Paola, KS formerly of Smithville, MO passed away, August 5, 2022.
He was born on December 28, 1996 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Smithville and Paola and graduated from Paola High School.
Phillip worked for UPS. He was an Eagle Scout and served on the Camp Geiger staff. Phillip enjoyed drawing, playing basketball, and Rocky movie marathons. He also enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Shackelford; brother, John Moroni Shackelford; aunt, Kerri Houston, uncle P.A. Shackelford, grandparents, Phil and Linda Shackelford, Claude Miller and Don Lovesee.
Phillip is survived by his mother, Sarah Lovesee and husband Phil; sister, Callie Shackelford; grandmothers, Charlene Miller, Nancy Lovesee And Wilma Crain; step-brothers and sisters, Brandon, Ben, Fiona, Isabel, and Esther; aunts and uncles, Nancy Jones, Randall Shackelford, Rosemary Robinson, Richard Shackelford, David Miller and Matt Miller; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m Saturday, August 13th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO with visitation at 11:00 a.m prior to the service.
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
Donations may be made to Valley Hope of Atchison.
