PEGGY ANN JENSEN

Peggy Ann Dixon Jensen, 70, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday evening, November 10, 2006 at North Kansas City Hospital after a long valiant battle against cancer.

She was born on August 29, 1936 in Smithville, MO. Peggy graduated from Smithville High School in 1954.

Before her diagnosis of cancer, she had worked at the Platte Woods Grocery Store for many years where she was known and loved by many. Her favorite past-times were tending to her many plants and flowers, and numerous craft projects.

Peggy was a member of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Don Jensen, of the home; her two sons, Mike Dixon and wife, Vicki of Laddonia, MO, and Pat Dixon and wife, Sheila of Goddard, KS; step-children, Tara Deckard and husband, Randy, and David Jensen and wife, Vonda, all of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren, Valisha Smith and Travis Dixon, Brandon and James Dixon, Alex and Graham Deckard, and Zoey Jensen; her parents, Dorothy and Stanley Shepherd of Smithville, MO; her sister, Donna Hudlemeyer of Smithville, MO, other relatives and many friends,

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 14th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
