Pauline Grace Adkins Borgmier
Pauline Grace (Gensheer) Adkins-Borgmier, 84, of Gower, MO passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
She was born on July 28, 1930 to James Robert and Emma A. (Pendleton) Gensheer in Durango, Colorado, the family later settled near Grayson, MO.
On February 15, 1949 she was united in marriage to Charles G. Adkins. After their marriage they farmed in the Dearborn area until 1966 when they moved south of Gower, where they made their home. Charles passed away on March 13, 1979. In 1993 Pauline married Harry Borgmier. They lived in Edgerton and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1998.
Pauline was a homemaker most of her life and in later years drove a bus for the East Buchanan School District. She was very giving and nurturing, caring for family and critters.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers Tom Gensheer and Bob Gensheer; sisters Mary Mitchell and Betty Lagner; daughters Nancy Pat Adkins and Carol Ann Carpenter.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Charles (Stacy) Adkins, Jr.,Gower, MO Don (Joan) Adkins, Maysville, MO and Jim Bob (T.J.) Adkins, Gower, MO; daughters Janice (Mike) McNutt, St. Joseph, MO, Connie (Alan) Woodson, Yates Center, KS, and Mary (Tom) Crawford, Roscoe, MO; son-in-law David (Karla) Carpenter, Gower, MO; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brother Johnny (Terri) Gensheer, Wichita, KS; numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Burial: Allen Cemetery Gower
Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home
In lieu of flowers donations will be used for gifts for Hillview Nursing Home c/o Jim Bob Adkins.
