Paul Robert Atteberry
Paul Robert Atteberry, 74, of Faucett, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
He was born on January 10, 1938 to Perry H and May Agnes (Carr) Atteberry in Joplin, MO where he grew up and attended school. Paul then served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Paul was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Steele. After their marriage they lived in Joplin and in 1967 they moved to Kansas City, MO and later made their home in the Faucett area.
He was a crew chief mechanic for TWA for 32 years, retiring on November 1, 1999. While working for TWA Paul and Pat traveled extensively around the world. Paul was a pilot and belonged to many flying clubs. Paul also enjoyed farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, a brother and sister Mary Atteberry.
Paul is survived by his wife Pat; children, Rusty Atteberry and wife Penny, Christy Tigner and husband Chuck, Robert Atteberry and wife Mary Anne, Beth Atteberry, and Jimmy Atteberry; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brother Jack Atteberry and wife Pat; sister, Katie Johnson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 5th at Faucett Baptist Church with visitation from 12:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial: Faucett Cemetery
Arrangements: Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
