Patti Lynn Hunt

Patti Lynn Hunt, 60 of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

She was born on April 12, 1955 to Edward Charles “Buddy” and Laura Ann (Manuel) Yates in Kansas City, MO.  Patti grew up in Smithville and in 1973 she graduated from Smithville High School. 

On November 1, 1980 she was united in marriage to Arnold Hunt.  After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home. 

Patti was a personal banker for several banks, retiring from First Bank of Missouri in 2013.  She enjoyed antiquing, going places with her mom, dad and sisters and vacationing at the lake.  Patti most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and visiting with friends and loved ones.

She was a member of the Hoover Christian Church.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Arnold Hunt; sons Adam Hunt and wife Valerie and Eric Hunt and fiancé Mary Diaz; grandchildren Abram, Ethan, Tyler, Eliana, Emyleah, Elexia, and Emmett; sisters Cynthia Kivett and husband Tom and Connie Kimsey and husband Kyle; father-in-law and mother-in-law Okal and Clara Hunt; brothers-in-law Brian Hunt and wife Linda and Carl Hunt and wife Sue; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.  

Memorial Service:  11:00 a.m. Saturday February 6th with visitation following until 2:00 p.m. all at Community of Christ Church, Smithville

Donations may be made to North KC Cancer Center
