Patsy Ruth Montgomery
Patsy Ruth Montgomery, 83, of Edgerton, MO passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019.
She was born on September 26, 1935 to Robert Lawson and Nannie Lou (Heath) Baber in Smithville, MO. Patsy grew up in rural Edgerton and 1953 graduated from North Platte High School.
On July 31, 1953 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Deane Montgomery. After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home.
Patsy was an active lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing pitch and was a fan of all sports. Patsy loved cooking, being around children and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Mary Guyer, Martha Foster and Betty Sellars.
Patsy is survived by her husband Lloyd Deane Montgomery; sons Steven Montgomery and wife Nancy, Robert Montgomery and wife Patty, and Kevin Montgomery and wife Betty; grandchildren Jason (Megan) Montgomery, Michael (Nicole) Montgomery, Derek Montgomery, Amanda (Levi) Mallory, Zach (Christy) Bowser, and Cory (Keely) Bowser; great-grandchildren Meredith, Evan, Max, Jack, Elizabeth, Ava, Zach, Lilly, Lucy, and Bailey; other relatives and many friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

So sorry to hear this… I’ve always wanted to come and visit again however time changes everything. I do remember the last time I was there in her home and she was as gracious as always. I hope to see the family again soon.

sorry four loss. I knew Patsy for years. she was certainly a lady. always smiling and pleasant to be arouns. I enjoyed visiting with her and and will miss her. may she be always in our hearts. god bless you Patsy
