In Remembrance Of

Patrick James Parker

Patrick James Parker, 17, of Smithville, MO passed away March 30, 2008.

He was born on September 26, 1990 to Julie and Mike Parker at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He was named after his great-grandpa, Patrick Green. Patrick loved his family and life very much- especially his baby brother Logan. He had a special love for sports-every sport imaginable. He had an uncanny ability to remember sports statistics, due to his photographic memory which was inherited from his Grandpas Pat and Arnold, and scores of games (who one who lost), family events, birthdays, etc. Patrick’s desire was to one day be a sports announcer, but his life was cut short due to a senseless drive by shooting near his father’s home in Sand Springs, OK.

Patrick had a special relationship with his Grandpa Joe. They shared the same birthday and he loved grandpa’s spaghetti and meatballs.

He had a zest for life, but the most important fact about Patrick, is that he took salvation very seriously and loved the Lord with all his heart.

Patrick was preceded in death by his sister Amanda Suzanne Parker; his maternal great-grandparents, Lorene Green and Charles and Dorothy Burbank; and his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Parker.

Patrick is survived by his mother and dad, Julie and Scott Windle; brother Logan Windle; maternal grandparents, Patsy Green and Joe DiMaggio, Arnold and Bonnie Green and great-grandfather, Pat Green and wife Virginia. Uncle Mark Green and cousin Taylor Green; great aunts and uncles, Arlene and Harold Smith, Ken and Cindy Green and many second and third cousins. His father, Mike Parker; paternal grandmother, Grace Parker; paternal aunt and uncle Becky and Chris Yates and many many friends.

We Love You, Patrick. You will be greatly missed !!
