Patricia Lee (Bishop) Reeves

Patricia Lee Reeves, 70 of Smithville, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at her home.

She was born on October 10, 1939 to Lewis Cleveland and Ruth (Ward) Bishop in Taylorville, IL. Pat grew up and attended school in Lamar, MO.

In February 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to Donald Joe Reeves, Sr.. After their marriage they lived in Trimble, MO and later moved to Smithville where they made their home.

Pat worked for Dr. McFarland at Spelman Memorial Hospital in Smithville for many years. She was also a volunteer for ARC and later worked for Gladstone License Bureau. Pat loved crocheting, knitting, taking care of her plants and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Dana Jean Reeves, great-granddaughter, Joselyn Leona Reeves, great-grandson, Derrick Alexander Castillo.

Pat is survived by her husband, Donald of the home, four sons, Donald Joe Reeves, Jr. and wife, Debbie, Holt, MO, Dennis Reeves, Trimble, MO, Doug Reeves, Plattsburg, MO, Rick Reeves, Lathrop, MO; daughter, Cristina Jane Lloyd and husband Gary, Plattsburg, MO; daughter-in-law, Linda Herrera, Liberty, MO; close friend, Katrina Taylor, Trimble, MO; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one brother, Louis Bishop and wife, Phyllis, Rogers, AR; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23^rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home Smithville with visitation from 12:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
