Patricia Ann (Bonner) Brown
Patricia Ann Brown 66, of Kearney, MO, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014.
She was born on September 15, 1947 to William Thomas Bonner and Marjorie Ruth (Christianson) Bonner in St. Joseph, MO where she grew up and in 1966 graduated from Lafayette High School. Pat then attended Trenton Junior College where she received her LPN Certificate.
August 1, 1969 she was united in marriage to Lionel Brown. After their marriage they lived in Trenton, Gallatin, Fairfax, and Windsor and after retirement moved to Kearney.
Pat was a member of the Smithville Community of Christ where she has served as Women’s Leader, Secretary, and Recorder.
Pat’s nursing career was spent in doctor’s offices, school nurse and county heath. Pat was a Girl Scout Leader, Campfire Leader, and was a Camp Nurse. She enjoyed working with youth and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Russell David Sollars, William Thomas Sollars and three nephews.
Pat is survived by her husband Lionel; children Keith Brown and Kara Jackson and husband David; grandsons, Jacob, Jase and Justin; sisters, Bernice Fay and Imogene Carol Knudsen; brother, Robert Ray Sollars; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 23rd at Smithville Community of Christ
Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22nd at the church
Donations: Community of Christ Building Fund
