Pamela Anne Shanks
Pamela Shanks, 59, of Dearborn, MO passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014.
She was born on August 11, 1954 to Earl and Nancy (Bogart) Long in Kansas City . She grew up in the Gladstone area and graduated from Winnetonka High School.
Pamela was united in marriage to William “Bill” Shanks. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn where they made their home. Her husband passed away, July 3, 2002.
She worked at K-Mart in Leavenworth, Kansas and Kansas City.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Deborah and Dayna Long, and one brother, David Long.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Long and Tricia Hodges; four grandchildren, Jesse Wayne, Cody, Dylan, and Alex; other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Burial: Dearborn Cemetery, Dearborn, MO

I had the opportunity to work with Pam at Leavenworth Kmart. She was a very nice and helpful person. She will be missed. To the family~So sorry for your loss hold on to your wonderful memories.
