Ollie Nathan Sellars
Ollie Nathan Sellars, 79, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away, Friday, November 7, 2008.
He was born on July 22, 1929 to John D. and Virneta (Guyer) Sellars near Edgerton, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in the Edgerton and Dearborn areas.
He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
On November 24, 1951 he was united in marriage to Melba Fern Reynolds. They lived most of their life in St. Joseph, where they made their home. His wife, Melba, passed away, June 6, 2007.
Ollie was a truck driver and also farmed for many years.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Tom Sellars and Jack Kemp, and son, Robert Sellars.
Ollie is survived by one daughter, Linda Diane Myers, St. Joseph; one son, David Sellars, Alabama; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd Sellars, Faucett, MO, Lloyd Sellars, Dearborn, MO, and John Sellars, Edgerton, MO; one sister, Caroline Surface, Colorado, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Inurnment: Frazier Cemetery, Frazier, MO.
