Olive Mae (Dawson) Louder

Olive Mae Louder, 96, of Gower, MO, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

She was born on August 31, 1918 to James and Alice Maude (Hopkins) Dawson in Hamilton, MO. She graduated from Kingston High School in 1936.

 

On June 20, 1937 she was united in marriage to Denzel Louder. After their marriage they lived in Parkville, moved to Pomme De Terre for 11 years and then returned to Kansas City for 11 years. In 1999 they moved to Gower. Her husband preceded her in death on September 28, 2006.

Olive worked for National Bank in North Kansas City as a loan agent, where she retired in 1979 after 30 years.

She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Olive loved playing the piano, playing card games, and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Olive is survived by her daughter, Karen Hedrick and husband Leroy, five grandchildren, Dennis (Dee) Nelson, Debbie Coble, Don (Brenda) Nelson, Doug (Kris) Nelson, and Denise (Jason) Fricke; great-grandchildren, Casey (Tina), Courtney, Christina (Josh), Katie, Spencer, Bethany, and Grant; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Jaxson, Kyan, Cooper, and Kaylee; other relatives and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Private Family Inurnment at East Slope Cemetery.
