Norman Jack Stevenson

Norman Jack Stevenson, 85, of Trimble, MO passed away January 9, 2013.

He was born on February 25, 1927 to Lee Ander and Bessie Mae (Jones) Stevenson in Trimble, MO where he grew up and graduated from Gower High School.  He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. 

He was united in marriage to Odelle Caldwell.  After their marriage they lived in Liberty, Kansas City and Smithville, later moving to Trimble, MO where they made their home.  His wife, Odelle, passed away on December 28, 1998. 

Jack was a truck driver for American Can Company for over 40 years. 

He was a member of the Stony Point Presbyterian Church.  Jack was also a member of the Alpha Lodge # 659 in North Kansas City, MO where he was past Worshipful Master and was a past Director of the Director’s Staff for the Ararat Shrine Temple.

Jack was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Willard Stevenson, Karl Stevenson, Victor Stevenson and Robert Stevenson; sisters, Esther Selders, Cora Stevenson, Ruth Bradley, and Betty Barr and an infant great-grandson, Keegan Owen.

He is survived by his daughters, Janet Smith and husband Jan, Spring Hill, KS and Teresa McNeal, Trimble, MO; grandchildren Shauna McNeal, Lisa Owen and husband Kevin and Matt McNeal; great-grandchildren, Noah, Cora and Landon Owen; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Memorial and Masonic Service:  2:00 p.m. Saturday January 19th at Stony Point Presbyterian Church, 6222 SW O Hwy Trimble, MO.

Donations may be made in his memory in care of the funeral home.
