Neva Mae (Wake) McCrackin

Neva McCrackin, 77, of Smithville, MO passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2012.

She was born on July 21, 1935 to Lewis Daniel and Essie Edith (Collins) Wake near Willow Springs, MO, where she grew up and attended school.

On January 27, 1962 she was united in marriage to Leeman McCrackin. After their marriage they lived in the Smithville area where they made their home. Her husband passed away July 28, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Stickland and Vetris Bruffet and brother E.J. Wake; and grandson, Wesley Jenkins.

Neva is survived by her children, Jan McCrackin, John McCrackin and wife Denise, and Larry McCrackin and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Michael, Leann, James, Roquelle, Taylor, Alyssa, Nikki, Ryan and Craig; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Wake and Eddie Wake; sisters, Lavonne Pilier, Edna Storms, Marilyn Howell; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 1:00-2:30 pm. Monday, Oct at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m, Monday at Paradise Cemetery.
