Neoma Fay Edwards Jones
Faye Edwards, 61, of Trimble, MO, passed away, Monday, September 13, 2010.
She was born on September 8, 1949 to Donald E. and Waymeth (Barnes) Edwards in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in the Dearborn area and graduated from North Platte High School in 1967. She then attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph where she received her degree in nursing in 1986. Faye lived most of her life in Trimble.
Faye was a Registered Nurse, and was the Clinical Manager of the Skilled Unit at Liberty Hospital, and later was the Director of Nursing at Beverly Enterprises in Oak Grove, MO.
She was a member of the Trimble Baptist Church where she was a past Sunday School Teacher. Faye was a Foster Parent for many years, fostering over 30 children. She will be remembered by her caring heart and smile.
She was preceded in death by her father, step-father, Jesse Heath, and her sister, Donna Jean Edwards.
Faye is survived by her children, Hubert Lee Swope, Jr. and wife, Julie, Craig Edward Swope and wife, Patricia, David Wayne Swope, Gary Allen St. Clair, Elbert “Buddy” Betz, Justin Betz, and Cassandra Jones; her mother, Waymeth Heath; grandchildren, Skyler Swope, Joseph Swope, Michael Swope, Anthony Swope, Seth Swope, James Swope, Haley Bradley, Markus Swope, Samuel Bradley, Faith Swope, and Corra Swope; great granddaughter, Addalynne Swope; sisters, Marie Hesseltine, Colleen Widener, and Susan Heath; brothers, Clyde Edwards and David Heath; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 17th at Trimble Baptist Church in Trimble.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
